A small wetland reserve where the River Broye enters the Lac de Morat, important for its breeding colony of Sumru.
The Embouchure de la Broye nature reserve is a small wetland with a breeding colony of Sumru , and single pairs of Küçük balaban and Büyük kamışçın. It is especially interesting during migration when a variety of waders (including Dere düdükçünü , Karakarınlı kumkuşu , Küçük kumkuşu and occasionally Kızıl kumkuşu and Sarıbacaklı kumkuşu ) and terns ( Kara sumru, Hazar sumrusu and Bıyıklı Sumru ) make a stop over.
The area is easily accessed by car. There is a public car parking place (free). On sunny days in summer the area can become quite crowded.
