On the gravel banks along the Reuss there are Dere düdükçünü, Derekuşu and Dağ kuyruksallayanı. The following species can be observed in the pastures and meadows: Dağ incirkuşu, Ağaç incirkuşu, Kuyrukkakan, Yılan Kartalı, Arı Şahini, Çayır taşkuşu, ak yüzlü ıslıkçı ördek, Kızılsırtlı örümcekkuşu.

The floodplain area is located between the villages of Hospental and Realp. You can explore the area on foot. A circular walk around the area is about 3 km.
