The Ägelsee is popular with birders, as many migratory birds often make a stop at this small lake. There is also an observation post by the lake.

Description

The Ägelsee (or Egelsee) is located at 339 meters above sea level in Zeiningen in the canton of Aargau. The small lake was formed during the retreat of the glaciers during the last ice age. In the middle of the lake there is a large reed bed. From the bird hide many bird species can be observed, for example: Çamurcun. Tepeli patka, Küçük batağan, Karaboyunlu batağan Karaboyunlu bataðan, Su çulluğu, Leylek, Gri balýkçýl, Kızıl Çaylak, Kara çaylak, Saz Kamışçını, Ak kuyruksallayan and Bataklık kirazkuşu.
