Description

The area arround Börringe is well known for being a hotspot to watch raptors. It is especially interesting during autumn migration when the birds are passing by, but now and then rare eagles spend the winter in the general area.

Park along the road and climb the steep hill. From the top you will have a good view of the area. Breeding birds are Kızıl Çaylak, Kara çaylak, Akkuyruklu kartal and Şahin. From August the migration starts, with September as its peak. During this period big numbers of Arı Şahini and Şahin can be seen migrating. More rare but regular is Bozkır delicesi and Küçük Orman Kartalı but also rarities such as Büyük orman kartalı, Yılan Kartalı and Şah kartal and even once Kara akbaba has been seen over the years.
