Description
Before driving on to the bird station, which is located on the southernmost point of the island of Öland, a stop in Ottenby Lund Nature Reserve is worthwhile. Sarıasma is an annual visitor. Other birds you can encounter are Halkalı Sinekkapan, Boyunçeviren, Balık kartalı, Kızıl Çaylak, Guguk, Kara ağaçkakan, Orman alaca ağaçkakanı, Küçük ağaçkakan and Arı Şahini.

Access
There are 2 parking spaces, Södra and Norra Parking. The area is fine for exploring on foot. There is a very high bird watch tower. Of course there is a lot of birdlife to see in the forest, but also along the edge you have a lookout over a large wetland (in winter), a large dry plain in summer. Ideal for birds of prey such as Delice doğan and Gök doðan. The route shown on the map is about 5 km long.
