A bog and marsh reserve of 102 hectare with clear waters in the south of the island of Gotland. Good area for spotting birds of prey.

Description

In Muskmyr nature reserve birds of prey are often seen. Even rare ones like Ala doğan in spring and summer. There is a bird observation tower from where you can search the sky above the horizon for Akkuyruklu kartal and Kaya kartalý. Saz delicesi nest in the bog and Delice doğan are often seen catching dragonflies over the reeds. Along the hiking trail that leads around the bog there are many beautiful and special plants including a wide variety of orchids. Among the other birds you can see are Çütre, Kızıl Çaylak, Altın yağmurcun, Gökçe delice, Turna, Çayır taşkuşu, Kuyrukkakan and Kervançulluğu.

About 1 km north of Sundre church, east of the road. Parking next to the road. The area has a bird tower overlooking the area and a hiking trail.
