Description
The Lillfjärden lake is primarily known for its geese. Akyanaklý kaz, Boz kaz, and Kanada Kazı all breed. The lake also holds the entire swedish non-breeding population of Küçük sakarca. Other geese like Sakarca, Tarla kazi, Küçük Tarla Kazı can often be found. Some years Tundra kazi and Yosun kazi are also found during migration periods.
The lakes rocky coast is also often home to waders like Kara kızılbacak, Kızılbacak, Küçük halkalı cılıbıt (breeds), Poyrazkuşu (breeds), and Döşüşkenkuş. The lake holds large amounts of Yeşilbaş and smaller amounts of other dabbling ducks. Even species which are rare in northern areas like Boz ördek, Kaşıkgaga and Çıkrıkçın. Smaller amounts of diving ducks can often be found. Wintering İpekkuyruk and Tayga çütresi are often found. Although the numbers vary widely.

Access
The lake lies directly north to the center of Hudiksvall. There are many places to park the car. Click on the P in the map to get directions. You can make a circular walk around the lake (2,5 km).
