Description
Fysingen nature reserve has almost 100 breeding species and is a popular birding destination for it's waders, geese and other waterbirds. But also to see birds of prey. The beach meadows with mighty reed belts are bird protection areas and also rich in birds.
Saz delicesi can be seen flying low over the reeds, but you can also see birds of prey such as Delice doğan, Kerkenez, Paçalı şahin and Balık kartalı. The Akkuyruklu kartal has its nest on the island Stora Kyngan in the middle of the lake. You can also hear the honking of Balaban and the Benekli bülbül sings through the night. Other nice birds you might see are Çütre, Altıngöz, Sütlabi, Turna, Büyük kamışçın, Döşüşkenkuş and Kara kızılbacak.

A bird tower with connecting track has been built at the far end of the reeds at Fysingen's northwest shore. For parking see the P on the map.
