Description
From the picturesque Puerto de Carril, you can see the nearby Isla de Cortegada. Birds like Karagagalı Sumru and seagulls often rest on the wooden stakes from the dock. It is not uncommon to see Büyük Karasırtlı Martı and Karasırtlı Martı. The most frequent are Gümüş martı and Karabağ martı. You can also see Karaayaklı martı and Akdeniz Martısı. Also Sümsükkuþu. The frequency of Tepeli Karabatak and Alcidae like yaygın alk, Usturagaga or shearwaters makes the place a special place. The terrestrial birdlife is much less interesting, although it does add species to the watch list.

The best time is sunrise. I have always gone in summer, and even so, warm clothes are recommended for that time. A jacket is enough.
