Description

Polvorines is an area with old army magazines with oyster stone walls where you can see the marsh on one side and scrubland on the other. You can observe birds many waders and passerines. For example birds like Büyük kumkuşu, Flamingo, Uzunbacak, Akça cılıbıt, Boz Ebabil and Balık kartalı.

Espagnol: Excelente zona para observar tanto limícolas como paseriformes. Son unos antiguos polvorines del ejército con muros de piedra ostionera donde se observa la marisma por un lado y monte bajo por otro.

Access

The Polvorines area is located west of the city of San Fernando. The area can be reached from the Bahía Sur shopping center parking lots. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking. From the parking the area can be explored on foot or by bike.
