Description
Apart from the nice view (which is typical of the character of the National park), this viewpoint is a good place to see the two most iconic birds of the entire region: Kara akbaba and İberya şah kartalı, the former of which nests on the slopes opposite the viewpoint. Apart from these two charismatic species, Kara leylek, Yılan Kartalı, İberya Saksağan, kızıl boyunlu çobanaldatan and Küçük kartal may also be seen.

Easily reached from both Torrejon el Rubio and Plasencia. After crossing the dam over the river Tietar, follow the road, through the pine woodland for a couple of kilometers, the viewpoint is then located on the right side of the road. Check the electricity pylons surrounding the site for Yılan Kartalı!
