Description
Les Basses d'en Coll is an important wetland reserve with 191 species seen. Winter wildfowl including Pasbaş Patka, Flamingo, Sazhorozu, Kaşıkçı and Su kılavuzu. Gulls including Gümüş martı. Also Erguvani balýkçýl, Büyük kamışçın, Dağ incirkuşu, Tavşancıl, Çakýr and Kızıl akbaba. Boz Yelkovan (diomedea) and Balear Yelkovanı offshore. In the fields and trees Bülbül, Gökkuzgun, Tepeli toygar and Mumgaga.

Access
Reserve is a 8 km walk south from Estartit along the beach. By car it's 19 km. From the main road between Palafrugell to Torroella, head east at Mas Carles and look for viewing platform. There are campsites north and south. The beach gets busy so summer visits are not recommended. No buses nearby.
