Description
The Laguna las Cañas has several types of environment: crops, Mediterranean scrub in the surroundings, banks, flooded soils, small reed beds in the outer zone and large reed beds in the interior, free waters, islets and trees. The landscapes are changing, the amount of water and the season of the year influence the amount of species that can be observed. There are several observation points. Some of the nice birds you can see here are Macar ördeği, Bıyıklı baştankara, Kızılbacak, Uzunbacak, Gece Balikçili, Erguvani balýkçýl and Saz delicesi. See the extended birdlist below.
