Desembocadura de Río de San Pedro( Mouth of Río de San Pedro) and the banks of Puerto Real and Puerto Santa María are ideal for seeing rare birds, as well as large numbers of more frequent and no less attractive birds such as Poyrazkuşu or Küçük sumru. Of note are the sightings of ringed birds from northern Europe and less frequent birds such as Pembe Sumru, Hazar sumrusu and Sumru.

There is no observatory. The birds are concentrated on the banks of the San Pedro River. Terns are seen in summer. In winter the Poyrazkuşu. Both are can be seen all year round but they are not so abundant.
