Kompenzacioni bazen (compensation pool) has more than 220 species recorded by a single local birder, Ivan Medenica.
Locally common birds include Dağ incirkuşu, Tepeli toygar, Akgerdanlı ötleğen and Taşkuşu. Followed by frequent Yaz atmacasý, Çizgili ötleğen, Ak Mukallit, Sarıasma, Üveyik, Bıldırcın kılavuzu, Çobanaldatan and Küçük su çulluğu.
Local rarities include mouth-watering birds such as Tepeli pelikan, Kulaklı batağan, Çöl Ötleğeni, Bıyıklı Kamışçın and Boğmaklı toygar.
