Due to the presence of shallow pools, the Vadu area is popular with waders such as Sürmeli kumkuşu, Uzunbacak, Sarıbacaklı kumkuşu, Küçük kumkuşu, Akça cılıbıt and Deniz düdükçünü. In spring and autumn it is a good place for migratory birds. But also in summer many marsh birds such as Erguvani balýkçýl, Çeltikçi, Bıyıklı Sumru, Gece Balikçili, Saz delicesi, Bataklýk suyelvesi and Dosu kamışçını are breeding in this area.
