Description

Grădina Botanică Anastasie Fătu is a big botanical garden in Iași. The garden spans over 80 hectares of land. Established in the year 1856 and maintained by the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University. It is an oasis of tranquility where many birds can be observed. For example Ortanca Ağaçkakan, Alaca Ağaçkakan, Küçük yeşil ağaçkakan, Sıvacı, Kocabaş and Atmaca.

Grădina Botanică Anastasie Fătu is located in the town of Iași. Access to the Botanical Garden is through the main gate, at the eastern edge of the grounds, adjacent to the Exhibition Park (Romanian: Parcul Expoziţiei). Opening hours: Between 1.10 – 14.04 daily between 9.00 – 17.00. Between 15.04 – 30.09 daily between 9.00 – 20.00. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the greenhouses are closed. Entry fee is about 3 euro (2024).
