Description
The Divor reservoir and its surroundings are great for bird watching. Much of the area is underexplored. The main observation point on the north side is the dam, which allows observing the waters of the reservoir. But as this dam is quite busy with sportsmen and fishermen, the disturbance can be high, so the number of birds present is not always high. So it is also good to explore the other side of the reservoir. On the lake and around the margins you can see ducks, grebes, Flamingo, herons and waders lake Dere düdükçünü and Yeşilbacak.
In the surrounding areas many birds can be seen. For example Bahçe kirazkuşu, Tarla kirazkuşu, Tepeli Guguk, Arıkuşu, İbibik, Bozkır örümcekkuşu, Thekla toygarı, Tepeli toygar, Tarlakuşu, Yelpaze Kuyruk, Şarkıcı mukallit and Maskeli Ötleğen. Also many birds of prey can be seen flying over the area. In summer you have a good chance on Kara çaylak, Küçük kartal and Kızıl akbaba. In winter Gökçe delice, Kızıl Çaylak and Ak Çaylak. All year round you can see Şahin, Saz delicesi and Kerkenez. Çayır delicesi can bee seen mostly in August.
