Zegrze Reservoir (Zalew Zegrzyński) is an artificial reservoir that currently serves primarily recreational purposes, especially for the inhabitants of nearby Warsaw. A large number of people feeding water birds, especially - Kuğu , Yeşilbaş , Karabağ martı causes their numerous concentrations. During the winter, the Zegrze Reservoir is a wintering ground for northern waterbirds such as Kýzýlgerdanlý dalgýç , Kara ördek, Kadife ördek , and a roosting place for seagulls.

From Warsaw, Zalew Zegrzyński can be reached by Warsaw public transport. However, due to the size of the reservoir, it is definitely most convenient to visit the observation points by car, parking e.g. at the beach in Nieporęt. Press P on the map for directions.
