There is a colony of Karabağ martı here, where Sumru, Karaboyunlu batağan Karaboyunlu bataðan, Kızılboyunlu batağan, Elmabaş patka and Boz ördek also nest. In this area, you can also find rarer species, such as Pasbaş Patka and Macar ördeği. With a bit of luck, there is a good chance of meeting Küçük balaban and Bıyıklı Sumru. From the second half of April to mid-May and in July, you can come across a mass migration of thousands of individuals of Küçük martı. Deep in Lake Dąbie, during migration and in winter, it is easy to see flocks of thousands of Tepeli patka. You can observe the birds from land - from the bicycle path running along the embankment along the lake. It is forbidden to sail onto islands with bird colonies.

The best way to visit the area is to drive to Lubczyna and park your car near the beach. You can also get there by water (Marina Lubczyna). From there, walk or cycle along the cycle path that runs along the embankment towards the northern part of the lake. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot.
