The vicinity of the reservoir is a breeding ground for many bird species. The dam crown has been made available for pedestrians and cyclists, creating a "walking part" connecting Goczałkowice-Zdrój with Zabrzeg, thanks to which the area of the Goczałkowice reservoir has become a recreational place. Among the birds you can see are Gümüş martı, Karabağ martı, Büyük tarakdiş, Büyük kamışçın, Sarı kirazkuşu, Akkuyruklu kartal, Gece Balikçili, Büyük ak balýkçýl, Kızkuşu, Turna, Karabatak and Sumru.
