Description
Lonåsen is a small village in Tunndalen, at the confluence of the rivers Tunna and Lona, about 13 kilometers northwest of the town of Tynset. The village is surrounded by forest and tundra. I stayed here for a month in the winter months of December and January. I regularly saw woodpecker species such as Orman alaca ağaçkakanı but also üç parmaklı ağaçkakan and Küçük yeşil ağaçkakan. In addition, Grouse such as Dağ Kartavuğu, Ormanhorozu and büyük orman tavuğu. Finch species such as the Kocabaş and Şakrak. Furthermore, many Sıvacı, dağ baştankarası, Florya, Huş isketesi, Çam baştankarası, Çalıkuşu, Kuzgun and Ağaç serçesi.

Lonåsen is located 13 kilometers northwest of the town of Tynset. In the general area around Tynset and Lonåsen you have a chance of these sightings, especially in winter.
