Description
Zijpendaal is an old park that is partly hilly with a beautiful transition to wet marsh forest. Some herons in the park are very tame, they can sometimes sit next to you. Birds you can see or hear in the area are Arı Şahini, Peçeli Baykuş, Kulaklı orman baykuşu, Alaca Baykuş, Puhu, Çakýr, Yalıçapkını en Dağ kuyruksallayanı.

Nederlands: Zijpendaal is een oud park met regenwoud-achtige feeling. Van algemene zangvogels tot 4 soorten uilen die regelmatig te horen zijn. Roofvogels en ijsvogels zijn er ook. Er komt bijna niemand, er zijn wat prachtige plekken. Het bos is gedeeltelijk heuvelig met zand en met een prachtige overgang naar nat broekbos. Ook is er zeldzame vegetatie. Leuk feit is de tamme reigers die naast je kunnen komen zitten. Vogels die je er kunt zien of horen zijn Arı Şahini, Peçeli Baykuş, Kulaklı orman baykuşu, Alaca Baykuş, Puhu, Çakýr, Yalıçapkını en Dağ kuyruksallayanı.

Access
From Arnhem station approx. 20 minutes walk. Many parking options around the park. For example, on the large parking lot on the Zijpendaalseweg, near the entrance to the Zypendaal estate (Zijpendaalseweg 44). You can walk around Zijpendaal in 30 minutes. If you have more time you can also visit the bigger Park Sonsbeek. There you find birds like Kara ağaçkakan, Yeşil Ağaçkakan, Küçük ağaçkakan and Ortanca Ağaçkakan.

Nederlands: Vanaf station Arnhem ca. 20 minuten wandelen. Vele parkeermogelijkheden rondom het park. Bijvoorbeeld op de grote parkeerplaats aan de Zijpendaalseweg, ter hoogte van de ingang naar huis Zypendaal (Zijpendaalseweg 44). In 30 minuten loop je een rondje in Zijpendaal. Als je meer tijd hebt kun je ook park Sonsbeek meepakken. Daar vind je Kara ağaçkakan, Yeşil Ağaçkakan, Küçük ağaçkakan en Ortanca Ağaçkakan.
