Small forest that has been set up as a water storage facility and through which you can walk on an elevated deck path.
The Verdronken Bos is a recreational forest that has been (re) designed as a water storage facility. It is intended to be able to store water in case of too much rainfall. The trees that were here cannot withstand too high a water level and are dead. Among the birds you can see here are Mavigerdan, Kamış Bülbülü, Küçük batağan, Orman alaca ağaçkakanı, Yeşil Ağaçkakan and Bataklık kirazkuşu.

You can walk through the area via a raised path on a platform and explore the area. You can walk up and down to the Verdronken Bos from the parking lot on the Kaaidijk (Click on the P in the map for directions). But you can also do the 5.6 km circular walk shown on the map.
