Elongated and low-lying wetland along the Strypse Watering, which is located between Rockanje and Tinte. Built to collect excess water.
Strypse Wetering is a low-lying wetland with flower-rich grasslands, reed beds and nature-friendly banks, where cows and sheep graze. Many species of water, meadow and reed birds can be seen. Rare birds such as Benekli suyelvesi, Balaban, Uzunbacak and Çeltikçi have already been spotted in this wetland area. Especially during the bird migration you can see many nice species, such as Balık kartalı and many waders, ducks, geese and songbirds.

Nederlands: De Strypse Wetering is laag gelegen wetland met bloemrijke graslanden, rietkragen en natuurvriendelijke oevers. Het gebied is aangelegd voor waterberging en er grazen koeien en schapen. Er zijn veel soorten water-, weide- en rietvogels te zien. Zeldzame vogels als porseleinhoen, roerdomp, steltkluut en zwarte ibis zijn in het verleden al gespot in dit plas-dras gebied. Met name tijdens de vogeltrek kun je veel leuke soorten zien, zoals visarend en veel steltlopers, eenden, ganzen en zangvogels.
The area starts at the Groeneweg in Rockanje and continues to the Kade in Tinte. Footpaths, 2 semi-paved cycle paths and a 4½ km long boot path between Rockanje and Tinte have been constructed to promote the experience of nature. Start from Westvoorneweg near Rockanje or from Tinte. If you want to walk around, then return via Strypse Dijk or Lodderlandse Dijk.

Er zijn wandelpaden, 2 halfverharde fietspaden en een 4½ km lang laarzenpad tussen Rockanje en Tinte aangelegd ter bevordering van de natuurbeleving. Start vanaf de Westvoorneweg vlakbij Rockanje of vanaf Tinte. Als je een rondje wil lopen, dan via Strypse Dijk of Lodderlandse Dijk terug.
