Description
The Plompe Tower is the church tower (and only remnant) of Koudekerke. A former village on Schouwen-Duiveland that was once swallowed by the waves. This is good place to enjoy the view on the Oosterschelde and Schouwen-Duiveland. Many birds are attracted by the so calles 'inlages', low-lying, moist grasslands that are partly submerged. In spring you see Kızılbacak, Çamurçulluğu, Kılıçgaga and Karabağ martı. In the winter months, thousands of Akyanaklý kaz and Yosun kazi forage on the brackish grassland.
