Relatively small forest with a lot of variation (deciduous trees, conifers, shrubs and a pond). The number of old and dead trees in this forest is also high.
Gravenallee Almelo is a small forest that - due to the variation in tree and plant species - has a relatively large number of bird species. Think of 5 woodpecker species, Kocabaş, Şakrak, Alaca Baykuş, Söğütbülbülü, Sürmeli Çalıkuşu and Yalıçapkını. In the spring also many singing Kara sinekkapan.

Especially easily accessible by bicycle. By car you have to park at the beginning of the Gravenallee, which costs a total of about 2 km extra walking (back and forth to the parking lot). Click on the P in the map for directions to the car park. The walk from the parking lot (which is shown on the map) is about 4 km in total.
