Description

The Abtswoudse Bos is a park of approximately 190 hectares with forest, reed beds, grassland, ponds, ditches and a variety of shrubs and trees. This variety in habitats attracts several nice bird species such as: Çekirge Kamışçını, Yalıçapkını, Su kılavuzu, Akgerdanlı ötleğen, Fiyu, Çakýr and with a bit of luck Küçük ak balýkçýl, Kocabaş, Şakrak, Büyük örümcekkuşu (in winter) and Balaban.

Nederlands: Het Abtswoudse Bos is een park van ongeveer 190 hectare groot aan de rand van de stad Delft met leuke afwisseling van vogelsoorten. In het park vind je stukken bos, riet, grasland, vijvers en sloten. Er komen verschillende soorten struiken en bomen voor. Deze variatie zorgt voor verschillende leuke vogelsoorten zoals: Çekirge Kamışçını, Yalıçapkını, Su kılavuzu, Akgerdanlı ötleğen, Fiyu, Çakýr en met wat meer geluk Küçük ak balýkçýl, Kocabaş, Şakrak, Büyük örümcekkuşu (in de winter) en Balaban.

Access

The Abtswoudse Bos is located directly south of Delft. There are several parking options. Press P on the map for directions to a parking lot. The area is also easily accessible by public transport. The best way to explore the area is on foot or by bike. The circular route shown on the map is about 6 km.

Nederlands: Het Abtswoudse Bos ligt direct ten zuiden van Delft. Je kunt op verschillende plekken parkeren met de auto. Druk op P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar een parkeerplaats. Het gebied is ook prima met openbaar vervoer bereikbaar. Je kunt het gebied het beste te voet of met de fiets verkennen. De rondwandeling die is weergegeven op de kaart is ongeveer 6 km.
