Description
The breeding colonies of the Kelaynak on the cliffs are well protected, not accessible and it is forbidden to enter them. A very good thing as this has greatly contributed to the breeding colonies expanding and the population of Kelaynak increasing again. Great news for a bird that was in danger of extinction not so long ago. This is the area where you have a very good chance to see them. Often flying past but also foraging in the sandy areas and dunes bordering the coast. Sometimes the Kelaynak can sit surprisingly close to the road and are not shy. Other birds you may encounter in the area are Ada Martısı, Büyük örümcekkuşu, Thekla toygarı, Tepeli toygar, Kara Kulaklı Kuyrukkakan, Taçlı Kızılkuyruk, Maskeli Ötleğen, Bıyıklı Ötleğen and Bozkır Ötleğeni.
