Stajkovsko Ezero is a lake with some surrounding marshland and reed fields amidst agricultural fields. During migration many birds make a stop here. And year round this a good place to find ducks, herons, grebes and cormorants. Birds you can observe include Çıkrıkçın, Pasbaş Patka, Kızılsırtlı örümcekkuşu, Saz delicesi, Arıkuşu, Uzunbacak, Su çulluğu, Orman düdükçünü, Döşüşkenkuş, Küçük halkalı cılıbıt, Bataklýk suyelvesi, Küçük Karabatak, Küçük balaban and Büyük kamışçın.

Stajkovsko Ezero is located about 10 km northeast of Skopje. An unpaved road runs along the eastern bank of the lake. From the nearby village you can walk, cycle or drive to the lake.
