The reedbeds are packed with Büyük kamışçın and Küçük balaban is also quite common, on the lakeKüçük Karabatak, Çulhakuşu, Bülbül, Thickbilled Bataklık kirazkuşu, Black-headed Wagtails etc. are easy to see. Lake Ohrid is located on the border of Albania and Macedonia near the towns of Struga and Ohrid. Best to explore the area on foot.
