Vecchie Saline are the old saltworks of Olbia. You can walk along a string of ponds and walk along to Baia Turchese (separate entry also described on Birdingplaces). Among the birds you can see are Çayır incirkuşu, Flamingo, Büyük ak balýkçýl, Küçük ak balýkçýl, Gri balýkçýl, Sığır balıkçılı, Bahçe kirazkuşu, Karabatak, Kervançulluğu, Suna, Kaşıkgaga, Uzunbacak, Dağ kuyruksallayanı and Yeşilbacak.

Access
There are several car parks near the ponds (for the beaches which border all the ponds). There are different access routes Click on a P in the map to get directions to thast P. Binoculars and telescopes essential. During the rainy seasons, the access roads have significant potholes and flooded parts (boots and 4x4).
