Description
The Stagni di Marceddì and Corru S'Ittiri form part of a Natura 2000 protected area. These lagoons are a mosaic of brackish and freshwater habitats, shaped by natural inlets, sandbars, and artificial dikes. The shallow lagoons attract waders, gulls, and ducks. Birds you can observe include Uzunbacak, Çamurcun, Suna, Gümüş yağmurcun, Halkalı cılıbıt, Kervançulluğu, Dere düdükçünü, Kızılbacak, Orman düdükçünü, Yeşilbacak, Tasçeviren, Döşüşkenkuş, Küçük kumkuşu, Kır incirkuşu, Taşkuşu, Küçük ak balýkçýl, and Incegagalı martı.
