Description
Riserva Naturale Regionale Ponte a Buriano e Penna is a nature reserve that is easily accessible from the Setteponti Road between Arezzo and Arno Valley and provides a range of habitats and bird species. The reserve features holm oak and riparian forest, small fresh water wetlands, agricultural lands and the open water of the reservoir. Good opportunity to see forest and forest edge, wetland and lake bird species. Certainly, this wide water pool below the Buriano Bridge strongly affects the charm of this Medieval architectural work, which took almost forty years of work, from 1240 to 1277. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Su kılavuzu, Saz delicesi, Balık kartalı, Pasbaş Patka, Kaşıkgaga, Erguvani balýkçýl, Küçük balaban, Yalıçapkını and Derekuşu. But many more, see the birdlist below.
