Parco dell'Oasi Vallona is a small park. The Tergola river flows along the park and crosses many cultivated lands. You can observe mostly common birds such as Tahtalı, Kumru, Sığırcık, Yeşilbaş, Şahin, Alakarga, Leş kargası, Kara kargası and Saksağan. In the river itself it is easy to spot species such as Sakarmeke, Sutavuðu or Dağ kuyruksallayanı and Ak kuyruksallayan, sometimes even some Küçük Karabatak. Along the entire route and in the trees, there are birds such as Büyük baþtankara, Mavi Baştankara, Uzunkuyruklu baştankara, Karatavuk, Orman alaca ağaçkakanı, Yeşil Ağaçkakan, Çitkuşu, Kızılgerdan, İspinoz or Küçük iskete. During migration sometimes Balık kartalı is spotted.

The route along the river is easily accessible from Via Roma: from here you can choose whether to follow the west side, from which it is possible to access the circular route of the Oasi Vallona, or whether to follow the east side, accessible via a dirt road. The river route is also accessible from the north-west, at the intersection of the canal and the river itself.
