An important crossroads of birds migratory routes for the province of Varese during spring and autumn migration, especially for passerines.
The area includes corn and wheat fields, with scattered areas of bushes and woods. Its open viewing angle makes this area optimal for observations, both for spring and autumn migration of passerines and raptors. In spring you can see tens or even hundreds of Sarý kuyruksallayans of almost all WP subspecies (included Sykes's, Iberian, British and Black-headed), tens of Kuyrukkakans, Tarlakuşus , some Kızılgerdanlı incirkuşus, Kır incirkuşus and the rare Bozkır Toygarı (the only regular stop-over site in the province of Varese). In winter Büyük örümcekkuşu is a regular visitor and sometimes over-winters in the area along with tens of Dağ incirkuşus, hundreds of İspinozes, Dağ ispinozus but also Ketenkuşus and Bataklık kirazkuşus. Küçük kargas are also a regular visitor and breed in the surrounding area.
You can reach the area by car (follow "via per Monate" in the southern part of Brebbia village) and then walk along the footpaths among fields.
The total number of species recorded in the area is 145 (updated in January 2020).
