Description
The KM 19 pool is famous for its Küçük bağırtlak that come in to drink at dusk. The pool is also good for ducks, herons and waders. Among the birds that can be seen are Çıkrıkçın, Kilkuyruk, Mahmuzlu Kızkuşu, Izmir Yalıçapkını, Maskeli örümcekkuşu, Flamingo, Pasbaş Patka, Küçük Yeşil Arıkuşu, Uzunbacak, Döşüşkenkuş, Yeşilbacak, Kaşıkçı, Incegagalı martı, Hazar sumrusu, Saz delicesi, Erguvani balýkçýl, Gece Balikçili and Küçük balaban. Access
The ponds are located 19 km north of Eilat. Come off Route 90 from the south, drive due east. Passable for all kinds of vehicles. Some parts may be muddy at times.
