Description
Langness has good seawatch viewpoints north and south. The east coast is rocky and good for Kırmızıgagalı dağkargası, Boğmaklı Ardıç, Kır baykuşu, Peçeli Baykuş and Taşkuşu. The west coast has exposed mud and seaweed-strewn rock at low tide frequented by herons, egrets, Poyrazkuşu, Suna, Mor Kumkuşu, Tasçeviren and Kervançulluğu. Rarities seen here include Boğmaklı toygar, Ak Sokumlu Kumkuşu and Üveyik.

Access
Isle of Man can be visited by ferry from Liverpoool, Heysham, Belfast or Dublin, or by air from several airports. Car park at Derbyhaven which is on a regular bus route, then short walk across to Langness. Or park on the island near the lighthouse. Be aware there is a golf course; dont obstruct play or become an accidental target.
