Description
Nagy-tó means Big Lake. In this large wetland next to the village of Tiszaalpár there is a big heron nesting colony in the willows-jungle around the Big Lake. Plenty of Gece Balikçili, Sığır balıkçılı, Küçük ak balýkçýl, Büyük ak balýkçýl, Gri balýkçýl, Erguvani balýkçýl, Kaşıkçı and Alaca Balikçil nest in the area. But there are many other interesting birds to see like Akdeniz Martısı, Kızılboyunlu batağan, Sütlabi, Akkuyruklu kartal and Kızılgerdanlı incirkuşu.
