Description
The road between Mavria and Platania is a great road to stop and drive along, and to observe many local breeding species, like Zeytin mukallidi, Akgözlü ötleğen and Bıyıklı Ötleğen. The small houses and farms a worth a check for Kukumav, and the scattered trees are perfect for Orman Toygarı. The scrubs and bushes are great for many species of shrike, like Kızıl Başlı Örümcekkuşu and Maskeli örümcekkuşu. The rocky outcrops are great for Kaya sıvacısı and Kızıl Kirazkuşu.
During migration, the area is worth to check for species like Gökkuzgun, Arıkuşu and Sarıasma. Raptors are always present, and tend to hang around the hill tops, like Kızıl şahin.

There's a road present, which you can stop and drive along between Platania and Mavria. Park your car carefully along the road, and check the area with binoculars.
