Description
More than 100 bird species have been seen in Levadi marsh . On one side this semi-flooded marsh area is bordered by the sea. A road to a quarry runs on one side along from the sea and on the other side the marsh is overlooked by a hillside. The small wetland attracts wading birds such as Küçük ak balýkçýl, Büyük ak balýkçýl, Alaca Balikçil and Çamurcun. Also Yalıçapkını can be seen. The surrounding reeded pools, scrubland and fir trees also attract tits, finches, Saz delicesi and Maskeli Ötleğen. It’s also common to see Arıkuşu and buzzards and eagles in this area.
