Description
Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and Kara Kulaklı Kuyrukkakan. Birds of prey include Kerkenez, Küçük kerkenez (especially at the acropolis), İshakkuşu and Kızıl şahin. Other birds you can encounter are Alaca Balikçil, Kocagöz, Kızıl Başlı Örümcekkuşu, Kizil kirlangici and Küçük kumkuşu.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
