Description
The pond of Rixdorfer Teich is popular with typical urban birds like Uzunkuyruklu baştankara, Kızılgerdan and Alakarga, as well as waterfowl like Kuğu, Mandarin Ördeği and Sutavuðu.
Some of the usual Büyük baþtankara are very used to humans and will even take seeds from the hand. There is a family of Şahin that live in the park, and one or two are usually hanging around in the trees near the pond. In summer many Kır kırlangıcı circle over the pond, and in autumn and winter there are always lots of Saka in the alders next to the pond.
