Description
Naturschutzgebiet Mönchbruch is characterised by its diverse habitat of old oaks, wet meadows, alder woodland and water ditches. The area has good populations of Taşkuşu and Ortanca Ağaçkakan. Other species that can be observed here are Kuğu, Boz kaz, Boyunçeviren, Su çulluğu, Tarlakuşu , Kara ağaçkakan, Küçük yeşil ağaçkakan, Kızılsırtlı örümcekkuşu, Yalıçapkını, Sıvacı,Kara çaylak, Arı Şahini and Delice doğan.

The best way to reach the nature reserve Mönchbruch is via the main road 486 (B 486) and park at Jagdschloß Mönchbruch (Mönchbruch hunting castle). Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 3,5 km.
