The Letter Bruch nature reserve covers an area of 66 hectares and is a relic of the formerly extensive wet meadow areas of the Coesfeld district.

Description

Nature reserve Letter Bruch is of great importance as a breeding and foraging habitat for many meadow birds. About 3-5 pairs of Kervançulluğu breed here. Also a breeding ground for Kızkuşu and Taşkuşu. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are Bıldırcın, Çilkeklik, Leylek, Saz delicesi, Kukumav, Kızılsırtlı örümcekkuşu, Bülbül, Çayır taşkuşu and Sarý kuyruksallayan.

The Letter Bruch is located just south of the village of Lette. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking spot. The circular route indicated on the map is about 5 km.
