Description
The Leipheimer Moos is a beautiful moorland with wide areas for Saz delicesi as well as the rare Bıldırcın kılavuzu, Sarý kuyruksallayan, Çekirge Kamışçını and migratory Çayır incirkuşu. In the reed areas north of the border ditch Mavigerdan likes to sing, in the cattle pastures Taşkuşu and along the boardwalk circuit (the boardwalk itself is unfortunately closed) Boyunçeviren, Bülbül, Su çulluğu, Kızkuşu, Akgerdanlı ötleğen, Guguk, Sülün and Kara ağaçkakan can be heard or seen.
Also worth a visit in autumn/winter when there are Gökçe delice, Büyük örümcekkuşu, Kır baykuşu, Sakarca and Turna.

Access
The Leipheimer Moos is located in north of the town of Günzburg. The area is perfect to explore by bike and on foot. You can park your car south of the area at the Herdweg parking area in Leipheim. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking. The Herdweg area provides convenient access to the moor and its hiking trails.
