Especially on warm summer days the area is good for all kinds of raptors as they breed in the surrounding forests like Scheidebusch, Kannenbruch, Grönauer Heide. Woodpeckers, Gökçe güvercin, Leylek or Turna pass by frequently. In the evening the call of up to 3 Çulluk is not unusual, sometimes Su çulluğu too. Typicall breeding species are Turna, Taşkuşu, Tarlakuşu, Çayır taşkuşu, Kızılsırtlı örümcekkuşu and Çayır incirkuşu.

There is a bus going to the village of Krummesse. Then walk. You can also take the car till the red and white "no entry sign". A bike is fine too.
