Description

Kleiner Berg Hohburg is a nature reserve on the small hill near Hohburg. It offers panoramic views of the vast flatlands of central Germany. Birds can be observed in the distance using a spotting scope or binoculars. Waterfowl such as Karabatak and Yeşilbaş live on the adjacent lake Kaolinsee. The lake also welcomes migrants and winter visitors like Altıngöz.

Access

Kleiner Berg Hohburg is located directly south of the town of Hohburg. Take public transport by bus to the "Hohburg Am Lossatal - Lossatal" stop (1). Alternatively, drive or cycle to the Kaolinsee parking lot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The circular walking route shown on the map is about 3 km.
