Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord is a complex of gravel pits west of Rössing. Breedings birds include Kamış Bülbülü and Büyük kamışçın. More important from October to February for wintering waterbirds. Gulls and Boz kaz roost in July and August. Birds you can observe in the area include Sakarca, Tarla kazi, Boz ördek, Yeşilbaş, Çamurcun, Tepeli patka, Büyük tarakdiş, Tarakdiş, Küçük batağan, Bahri, Sakarmeke, Bataklık kirazkuşu, Karabağ martı, Küçük gümüþ martý, Gümüş martı, Kuzey Gümüş Martı, and Gümüş martı.

The Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord are located west of the town of Rössing and north of the town of Nordstemmen. You can park along the road near the sports field. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From there you can explore the area on foot or by bike.
