Description
The Herrenteich attracts various waders (Küçük halkalı cılıbıt, Yeşilbacak, Kara kızılbacak, Orman düdükçünü, Yeşil düdükçün, Su çulluğu), especially during migration times. These birds are less common regionally. You can often see the Yalıçapkını, Dağ kuyruksallayanı, Kara çaylak, Kızıl Çaylak and various ducks and geese. From time to time Kara leylek, Atmaca, Çakýr are flying over. Now and then, Balık kartalı, Saz delicesi, and Delice doğan can also be seen.
The area can be seen from two sides and the footbridges can be walked on. One side of the lake is overgrown with trees. Another is covered with reeds.

The area is best explored on foot and free parking is available directly in front of the lake at the inn. The footbridges are freely accessible and you can enjoy a drink while watching.
